Joe Moore, Caretaker of the Goldthwaite Cemetery told me that this headstone was hit by vandals in a truck and the steeple portion was broke off from the base and the steeple portion was broken as well , bringing in some help and lifting it with some equipment, Mr. Moore was able to repair this headstone as it is still standing now.
