1581 (about): MARRIAGE OF PRICILLA AND ALEXANDER CARPENTER

About 1581 PRICILLA (age 21) married Alexander Carpenter in England. ALEXANDER and Pricilla had at least six children:

  1. Juliana (b. about 1583)
  2. Agnes (b. about 1585)
  3. ALICE (b. 3 August 1590)
  4. Mary (b. 1596)
  5. Priscilla (b. 3 September 1598)
  6. William of Cobham

1600 (about): ESCAPE RELIGIOUS PERSECUTION TO HOLLAND

About 1600 PRICILLA and Alexander were dissenters and on account of religious persecution in England moved to Amsterdam, Holland where they became members of the Separatist congregation known as the Ancient Brethern.

About 1609/1611 PRICILLA and family moved to Leyden, Holland with a group known as the “Green Gate” Assembly that had broken off from the Amsterdam group because of dissension and scandal.

1653: DEATH OF PRICILLA

On 21 December 1653 PRICILLA (age 93) died in Bath, Somersetshire, England.
