On 11 March 1718 SUSANNAH (age 20) married John Welch Jr. – probably in Preston, New London, Connecticut. SUSANNAH and her husband had at least eight children:

  4. Susannah
  5. John (b. about 1730)
  6. Solomon (b. about 1734)

1741 (about): DEATH OF SUSANNAH

About 1741 SUSANNAH (age 43) died in Windham, Windham County, Connecticut. SUSANNAH was buried on the farm in Hampton Parish, Windham, Windham County, Connecticut.

Susannah Emins married James Welch (Jr.). His father was James Welch (Sr.) who married Mercy (or Mary) Sabin. His father is unknown; however, her father was Samuel Sabin who married Mary Billington. Her father was Francis Billington who married Christian Penn (Eaton)

Susannah Emmons married John Welch (Jr.). His father was John Welch (Sr.) who married Sarah Hodge/Herrick. His father was Phillip (Jr.) who married Hannah Haggett. His father was Phillip (Sr.) who married Mary (maiden name unknown)

This line goes back to the European (Ireland).

The children of Susannah Emins and James Welch (Jr.) or Susannah Emmons and John Welch (Jr.) are essentially identical in name, dates and place. They both indicate a son DAVID Welch who preceeds Isaac and Nancy.

Susannah is said to have married John on 11 March 1717/1718 and James on 3 November 1718 neither died until later in life. John died on 12 April 1743 and James died 7 June 1756.
