Beadwork & Jewelry |
Hello and welcome to my meager
beading page.
I have been beading about 10 or so years but not until recently
have I decided to devote my addictive personality to this craft.
Why fight it any longer? I love to bead and to me it is the most
calming of all things to do besides sleep!
Below you will find a few items I have beaded.
Unfortunately, I have given most of what I already made away
and never thought to take photos of them.

Here is my latest project. This was made from the Elegant Netted Collar pattern from the Miningco site. I was intrigued by this because netted bead necklaces are part of a traditional Choctaw regalia. This was easy to do and next time I will try it in multiple colors. I used some old beads I've had forever which are hex cut black AB's or something like that..... |

This was a labor of love for
my Grandma Belle. She loves the slots, especially the nickel machines! Thanks to
Suzanne Cooper (can you tell I love her designs? LOL) The strap says: Belle Big
Time Winner, Hit The Jackpot and I Love The Slots. |
The necklace below is a bezel beaded cab with crystal point. The colors are a gentle purple with crystal white seed beads. The accent beads in the strap are fluorite. I learned how to do this technique from Donna Silverfox, Cherokee-Seminole bead artist. She is a wonderful teacher in Kansas City. |
The next necklace
is also a beaded bezel cab with labradorite which is a wonderful iridescent stone with electric blue highlights in it. |
Another beaded bezel cab which is crazy lace agate. I used cranberry matte seed beads size 11 and also size 15 beads to set the bezel. Strap is adjustable and includes cranberry colored accent beads set in a daisy chain accent. |
