The journey to finding my ancestors came from the family Bible with just one name. I typed in that name and their lives came rushing in on the internet. The names I am researching are BLACK,TACKETT,MULLINS,MORGAN,BAUGHAN,HUTCHINSON and MOSS. James W. Black came to the United States from Ireland in the early 1800's as a young child, he is my Great Great Grandfather,from the Bible it says that he was a Magistrate in Georgia and had served several terms. He died in 1878 he was 54 years old. James married Sarah E. Baughan, she was from Virginia and they had 9 children,my Great Grandfather D.S.P.(Daniel Spencer Payton) Black was the third child born to them,I haven't found any of his siblings yet but still looking. D.S.P Black was born October 5,1851 in Meriwether County Georgia. His occupation was Blacksmith. D.S.P. married Harret Sophronia Morgan,she also was from Virginia,they had 7 children,my Great Grandmother EFFIE MAE BLACK, JOSEPH BENJIMAN BLACK, SAMUEL CLIFTON BLACK, OPIE ZENITH A.BLACK, JIM EAGLE BLACK, AMY GRACE BLACK and AUGUSTUS PICKENS BLACK. After James W. Black died D.S.P. wife and Mother moved to Rockcreek Pike county Arkansas where they lived untill around 1889 then they moved to texas. The places they were at are GROSEBECK TEXAS, WAXAHACHIE TEXAS, SOMERSET TEXAS and around DALLAS TEXAS.
