A letter written by Livie to the Vincents in Monroe County mentions her "babe" but does not give a name. This letter was written from Huntsville, Alabama on Oct 2, 1859. At that time she says that the baby is somewhat better. In it she asks that a tombstone be erected over Dow's grave.

He was on the 1880 Loudon Co. Census census in household of James Knox whose wife was Eliza Vinsant, uncle of M. Houston Vinsant.

       121 ii. Austin K. Vincent; b. May 1899 Loudon, TN.

       122 iii. Hiram Vincent; b. 8 May 1904; m. Elsie L. (--?--) circa 1930; d. 15 Dec 1974 Dyersburg, Dyer, TN, at age 70.
