Minor Mothershead

Minor Mothershead, son of William and Lucy (Long) Mothershead, married Celia Hall, daughter of Clifton Hall, on 3 August, 1816, in Bullitt County, Kentucky. Prior to 1825, Minor and Celia moved their young family to Jefferson County Missouri where Minor's father, William, and several cousins had moved. In 1830 Minor and his family are living in Washington County Missouri, which borders Jefferson County. However, sometime after 1830 but prior to 1840 Minor moves his family back to Kentucky and they spend the rest of their days in the area of Mount Washington in Bullitt County. Several members of the Mothershead family are buried at Bethel Church Cemetery in Bullitt County.
