I moved to Henry County, Iowa in March 2003 and that
fall, I started taking pictures of the stones in their cemeteries and
am about done. Most pioneer cemeteries (no burials in last fifty
years) have all their stone pictures posted.
I no longer have a link to Marion Conty Cemetries on this site. I do still link to Red Rock Cemetery and the Indian/White Line of 1842. The Painted Rocks Lot Owners Association had placed
a memorial marker, in 2002, that marks the line that ended
civilization, for the white man, in 1842. My daughter and husband helped with that project.
