It is immediately to the right of the large sandstone and marble headstone (belonging to Samuel Moore and family) to the left of the holly bush in the picture. 

The inscription reads:

  In memory of JOHN MOORE died 9th April 1942, aged 81 years.
ISAAC HUGH MOORE, died 28th December 1958, aged 60 years.

Rev. Hugh Moore born : 18th September 1804 - died : 26th February 1893 in 89th year. Buried in Movilla Cemetery on 28th February 1893. Minister of Presbyterian Congregation of Newtownards for 61 years. Ordained on Wednesday 14th July 1827. Licensed to Preach on 7th February 1827. First sermon Holywood on 11th February 1827. Second Sermon Antrim on 18th February 1827. Third Sermon First Belfast on 25th February 1827. Fourth Sermon Newtownards on 4th March 1827. Newtownards on 14th April 1827

Location – To the left of the cemetery entrance in the old section of the cemetery, within 20 yards of the group of 5 Moore headstones.

The top of this headstone has broken off and is not lying anywhere near the rest.  It does not look like there would be much text missing.  I presume that the missing Christian name is John, as there are plenty of other references to “the above John Moore” but unfortunately there are no references to townlands in the remaining text.

The inscription reads:

[        ] MOORE who died [            ] aged [     ].

Thy will be done.

Also MARY JANE MOORE wife of the above JOHN MOORE

Who died 30th October 1922 in her 75th year

Also ISABELLA daughter of the late JOHN MOORE

Who died 10th February 1931 aged 53 years

Also his son JOHN W MOORE

Who died 12th April 1940 aged 73 years

Also his daughter JANE MOORE

Who died 9th December 1952 aged 69 years

Also SARAH J MOORE widow of the above JOHN

Who died 1st September 1954 aged 86 years
