DAVIS FAMILY REUNION

Come join us at the 69^th Davis Family Reunion!
Date: Sunday, September 21, 2008 (the third Sunday in September)
Time: 1:00 pm

Place: Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, Green Valley Road, Route 75, Ijamsville, Maryland. The church has a full kitchen and bathroom facilities.

Optional Tour of the Davis House right after the meeting. We have arranged to have George Davis’ house in nearby Hyattstown opened for visitors at 3 pm. George Davis, Jenkin’s great-grandson and an ancestor of us all, built the house in 1812. It is slowly being restored to what it must have looked like when new.

What to Bring

Plates, utensils, and beverages for your family. Dinner is POTLUCK. Bring a main dish AND a salad or side dish or dessert. All the food will be put on a central table to be shared.

Mementos! Photos, papers, bibles, quilts, tools, furniture¾ things made or used by our ancestors¾ are always a big hit.

Children: Playroom upstairs and playground outdoors.
