Summary:
The SPRINGER surname is the maiden name of my g.g. grandmother, Sarah
Elizabeth Springer Carrier. It is probable that they are of
English ancestry, having emigrated to Barbados due to religious
upheaval during the early 17th century. There is evidence that
later generations (late 1700's) of the family being
Quaker.
