Saferight Line

I have a marriage certifcate for Ruhamy Saferight that is illegible in areas. She married David L. York March 29, 1888 in Guilford County, NC. Her father is unknown and her mother's name is hardly readable. At the time of her marriage she is 19, which would put her birth year to around 1869. I would like to know who her parents were.

NEW! I have seen several online references to an Elizabeth Saferight that married a Jeremiah Wilson. While I have found definitive evidence that Jeremiah did have a wife named Elizabeth, I am looking for definitive proof that her surname was SAFERIGHT. Also, it appears that both his first wife and his second wife were both named Elizabeth. What records distinguish the difference between his two wives? Can someone help me with source records on this?

There is a marriage bond record for a Martalia Safewright who married George W. Swiggett on Aug. 8, 1850 in Guilford Co., NC. I would like to know who her parents were.

In the "New Garden Friends Cemetery: Tombstone and Death Records of the Old Section" An H. E. Saferight is listed with a death date of 1852. I would like to know who this person was and where he/she fit into the family.

Recently, I have discovered that there is most likely two Abner Saferights, possibly three. The first Abner Saferight's birth is about 1806 since he purchased land from his father in 1827 and had to be at least twenty-one. According to the 1860 Census, there is an Abner Saferight who was born around 1810. This Abner Saferight married Francis Hall. At Center Friends Cemetery there is a grave for an Abner Safright who was born 1814. Across from this grave is a Fracy Safright born in 1808. If this is the same couple as in the 1860 census, then Abner's age is off by several years. Francis' age in the census is about right with the age of Fracy's grave. In the "Marriage Records of Guilford County, NC" 1771-1868 Vol. III an Abner Saferight married Fanny Hall March 10, 1830. If born in 1814, he would have only been age 16 when this marriage took place, which is not impossible, only less likely. For now I will list Abner's birth in 1806 and Frances Hall in 1808. My assumption is that the Census is wrong and that the Abner (b. 1814) is a different Abner. Abner and Fracy's graves are not beside each other as most married couples, but across from one another. In the meantime, I would appreciate any help in clearing up this fuzzy matter.

In Vol. III "Marriage Records of Guilford County, NC" 1771 - 1868 by Frances T. Ingmire there is a listing for a John Saferight who married Ann Edwards Jan. 25, 1820. I am trying to discover where this John Saferight fits into the family tree. John Saferight Sr. married Nancy Saferight who lived until 1850. John Saferight Jr. married Willmet Fields March 3, 1814 and they moved to Indiana where they are in census records long past the year of 1820. At this time, I do not know another male Saferight old enough to be John Saferight's father other than John Saferight Sr. It is unlikely that he would give two of his sons the same name.
