The Barrett Cemetery was originally located on property
owned by Thomas Barrett, inherited from his father Dominick Barrett. It is
located on the East side of NC Route #1252 which is Lower White Store Road,
about 1.9 miles north of the White Store crossroads. From White Store, go North
on Route #1003 which is Union Church Road .6 miles; Union Church turns left
(West) and Lower White Store starts. Go another 1.3 miles to a driveway on
right. This driveway went to the Thomas Barrett home which is still in a clump
of trees seen from the driveway. The cemetery is to the left of the trees past
an open field in another clump of trees about 600 yards away.
