Mystery House, possibly in
Anson County, North Carolina

From Bob Johnson: This photo was given to my grandmother when she and grandfather lived in the William Horne house in Whites Store Township, Anson County, NC by the then owner Will Crowder c.1925. It was given to me by my mother, who thought that it was the William Horne house before it was renovated c.1900. Apparently, it is from the Will Crowder, or the Ed Barrett family, as both of these families lived in the William Horne house about the same time as my grandparents. But there is no other house in the immediate vacinity of the William Horne house that looks simular to either the William Horne house, or the photo listed. Please contact Bob Johnson if you have any information on the "mystery" house in the photo.

The above photo has been "doctored" by Bob Johnson, since the original was in poor condition. To see the original photo click here.
