Here's some specifics about the Bible itself. From the title page: The Holy Bible containing the Old and New Testaments, translated out of the Original Tongues, and with he Former Translations diligently compared and revised. Stereotyped for the American Bible Society by D. & G. Bruce. Printed by D. Fanshaw, No. 20 Stoat-lane, New York, 1819. Has American Bible Society embossed on the front leather cover. Measures about 4-1/4" x 7-1/4". About 2" thick. 837 pages.

ADDITIONAL DATA ABOUT THIS FAMILY:

Further research reveals that Zebulon Brooks was listed on the 1830 Census of Tompkins County, in Danby, NY, but was listed in Spencer, Tioga Co. in 1840-1860. The 1860 states that he was born in New Jersey. He is supposedly the son of DANIEL BROOKS (1751-1816) and wife PATTY. DANIEL was in the Revolutionary War as a private in Capt. Ebenezer Slasson's company, Col. Samuel Drake's New York Regiment. He was born in New Jersey and died in Spencer, N. Y. Zebulon's daughter ALMIRA M. BROOKS married Oct 1, 1851 at Danby, Tompkins Co, NY, to HARRISON W. GEORGIA. She died Feb 18, 1898 at State Line Mills, PA. Buried at Portville, NY. Zebulon's son Daniel C. Brooks (b. Dec 21, 1836/7-d.Jan 21, 1921) md. abt 1864 to Mary M. Seely (b.Jul 5, 1844 Newfield, NY-d.Apr 11, 1913).
