Medlin Price
Note from Ann
Medlin Price: I want to cry every
time I see this picture. This is where I am sure numerous of my Medlin
ancestors are buried. Mr. I. F. Plyler
has made no effort to fence his cows out of it and so it is gone. This is all
that's left of it. This cemetery Is forever lost. It
has not been protected from cows. At the time it was copied, there were 26
legible stones and many slate stones that
were not legible. Now there is nothing to indicate that there was ever a
cemetery there. I believe that John and E. Medlin
buried here are John and Fareby Whitley Medlin (UNCONFIRMED). Mr. Bivens
stated that the stones were very
hard to read at the time he listed the cemetery. |
