Francis Marion Hargett (s/o Daniel Hargett & Emily Penley) was born Aug 4, 1879 in Union Co, NC, and died May 6, 1952 in Monroe, Union Co, NC. He married Lillie Fowler Helms Abt. 1899, daughter of Unknown and Jane Helms. She was born Aug 7, 1879 in NC, and died Mar 23, 1950 in Union Co, NC. They and their infant daughter Beulah Hargett (Oct 6, 1900-Oct 12, 1901) are buried at New Salem Baptist Church Cemetery.
