Joseph Stegall married Sarah Jane Hasty and they reared
seven children on a 200
acre farm south of Wingate on Wide
Mouth
Branch.
It is on this property that he is buried.
This cemetery has not
been protected from cows.
There are only two grave stones left standing. It is now
enclosed by an electric
fence.
