WALPOLE EASTERN STAR

Instituted on Friday May 5, 1911 at the Masonic Hall by Deputy Grand Patron of State of Illinois, J. A. Foster. Other Grand officers were: Lora Lathave, Mae Schiller, Mary Frost, Florence VanCleve, Ollie Smith and Maud Walker. Installed at first meeting were Lorene Johnson, J.A. Deen, Maud Ellis, Beulah Flannigan, Frona Davis, Ollie Gregg, Mary Organ, Arthur Deen, Elsie Deen, Maud Johnson, Ethel Burnett, Bea LeMay, Susie Deen, Edith Hall, and J. M. Flannigan. Of these charter members Mrs. Maude Johnson Cotter is still active.

Present officers are Madge Wright, Gilbert Wright, Amba Allardin, Hayden Allardin, Mae Vaughn, Charlene Vaughn, Vida Ritchey, Carl Burnett, Lois Barker,Ella Myrtle Burnett, Winnie Wooldridge, Maud Johnson, Iva Hicks, Katherine Ham, Delta Link, Ruby Curry, Joan Johnson, Charles Vaughn & Edgar Johnson.
