2000 Hail/Hale Reunion

We had a great time at the reunion, held July 9, 2000 at the Farm Bureau Building, 423 East Mt. Vernon Street in Somerset, Pulaski County, KY. We shared photographs and genealogies, a huge amount of food was enjoyed by all. Verna invited us for a tour of  the Old Hail Store/Post Office and Sears home in Ula, Ky, nearby. Part of this year's reunion included taking pictures at cemeteries in Pulaski County. Later to Frankfort, KY where we visited the new Kentucky History Center, home of the Kentucky Historical Society and research library, Daniel Boone's grave at the beautiful Frankfort Cemetery, Kentucky Military History Museum (the old State Arsenal) and a tour of the Kentucky State Capitol.
