Notes and Sources:
Sir Winston is a 6th generation descendant of Nathan Beach, and I am a 9th generation descendant of Nathan. See my Beach Page for more info. According to the relationship chart by Bill Curtis, I am a 5th cousin 3 times removed to Sir Winston. See the curtis Family Genealogy site at www.curtis-curtiss.com.
parents of ambrose1 Hall were Thomas Hall and Lydia Curtis, whose father was Joseph Curtis, brother of Jemima.
A considerable amount of help in compiling this connection to Sir Winston was found in RootsWeb's gedcom files. I learned of the link from Beach cousin Ray Richard, who gave me the names of each of Sir Winston's ancestors in this line. I then found Don Raney's gedcom file in RootsWeb's WorldConnect site. His source for the information is The new York Genealogical and Biographical Record, Vol. LXXIII, No. 4, October 1942, in the article "American Kinships of Mr. Winston Churchill."
Also helping by confirming the information was cousin Eugene Beach. Check his Beach Family Journal website if you have a Beach surname in your ancestry.
