2 Two of their grandsons, William Burtis Miles and Abial Miles - along with their families - are buried at The Green-Wood Cemetery next to the plot of Charles Phineas Hawkins. They are therefore his second cousins.
3 Joseph Miles was definitely born before 1774 since he is referenced in the "warn out notice" issued on June 16, 1774 at Winchester; also, in order to be the first born, his birth date must precede that of Susanna in 1772.
