Laura | Rensselaer, Dutchess,Nassau |
I've been looking for Laura Johnston who married Philip H. Finger. She
had 2 children, Egbert Finger, born 1831 and Mary Finger, born 1834.
She died sometime between then and when Philip fathered a second family
child, Helen Finger, bapt. 21 Jan. 1847 in Manor, Dutchess Co., NY and
died 12 April 1895 in Nassau, Rensselaer . Co., NY. She and her parents
are buried in East Nassau. Mary, Laura's youngest child, had her mother's name on her death certificate, but this was given by her husband, John Magley, who never knew Laura, so it may have been JOHNSON or it may have been JOHNSTON. |
| Cynthia | Dutchess, Saratoga, Albany |
Searching for proof or evidence for Cynthia
Johnson who is said to have been born Dec 30, 1778 in possible
Dutchess Co, New York.
She is said to have married Joseph Cowell Feb 22,
1800 in Ballston, New York. They were living in Holland Vt. around
1800-1804. They moved to Albany by 1811. This information all
gleamed from a family tree that was done in the late 1800's early
