STEPHEN JOHNSON, son of Levi Johnson and Catharine, was born in June 1830. He married EVELYN about 1862. Stephen and Evelyn lived in Naples, Ontario County, New York in 1870 and 1880 and by 1900 they were in South Bristol, Ontario County. Their children are: Alace Johnson, b. abt. 1862, Ellen Johnson, b. abt. 1866, Carnet Johnson, b. Jan. 1864, Carlton Johnson b. July 1869, and Orson Johnson, b. March 1875. ORSON JOHNSON, son of Stephen Johnson and Evelyn, was born in March 1875 in Ontario, New York. He married FLORENCE HATTIE HICKS, daughter of Theron Hicks and Martha Sanders, in 1892 or 1898. In 1900 Orson and Florence Johnson lived in South Bristol, New York near Florence’s parents, but by 1910, they had moved to Canandaigua, New York. Their children are: Leslie Stephen Johnson, b. April 29, 1900, Thankful Hicks Johnson, b. Feb. 23, 1902, and Clayton Hicks Johnson, b. Aug. 9, 1906. |
