Pleasant William "Bill" Cave was born April 1, 1915, in Springfield, Missouri. He died March 27, 1964 in Dallas, Texas.  He was the son of William Everett Cave and Glessie Leota Fray.  They had six children, two died in infancy, and they had 4 boys that were children when their mother, Glessie died at age 30 of cancer on December 18, 1924.

William Everett known as Billy worked for many years for the Southwestern Bell Telephone Company and later as a lineman for the Frisco Railway.  He was found dead on the telegraph lines in MS. near Memphis of an apparent heart attack, just a few
years later.  The boys were left as orphans and lived with different relatives in Missouri and Oklahoma.

Sharon's research has revealed that Bill attended the Worlds Fair in Chicago, Century of Progress, in 1934.  He joined the army as soon as he could, and it was in Ft. Bliss, Texas that he met and married her mother in June 1938. They had two children, Sharon, and a son who later committed suicide.

Bill  married three times after that and had two children by his third wife, both of those children  live in Oklahoma City.
