| The Henderson Family was living in Campbell County, GA by at least 1840 where we find listed in the census both Samuel Henderson Jr and nearby, Samuel Henderson Sr, and presumably his father. On an adjacent farm also live Archibald Henderson, age 18 possible a younger brother in the 1850 Federal Census for Campbell County, GA (subscribed on 15 August 1850), we find Samuel Henderson Jr as a farmer living with his wife and family living in ED 408A (The Family surname is miss-spelled in the census): |

| The 1860 Census lists the Hendersons living in the Campbletton district of Campbell County. Campbellton is now part of Fulton County on the southwest side of Atlanta outside the perimeter (out past the airport). It is located on the south side of the Chatahootchie River which marks the boundary with Douglas County (the other half of what used to Campbell County). It is not clear to me if the Henderson's and/or Bryant's lived in the part of Campbell County that is now Douglas County or Fulton County. |
