Release Deed or Quit-Claim
This Indenture, made this 3rd day of November A.D. 1887 between Mary RICHARDS of Wheeling, Ohio County West Virginia of the first part, and Sarah C. RICHARDSON of the same City county and State of the second part: Whereas Sarah C. RICHARDSON by a mortgage bearing date the nineteenth of September 1885, for the consideration therein mentioned and to secure the payment of the money therein specified did convey certain land and tenements of which the premises hereinafter described are part unto Mary RICHARDS aforesaid; And whereas the said party of the first part, at the request of the said party of the second part, has agreed to give up and surrender the premises hereinafter described unto the said party of the second part, and to held and retain the residence of mortgaged premises as security for the money remaining due on the said Mortgage; Now this Indenture Witnesseth that the said party of the first part, in pursuance of the said agreement and in consideration of one dollar to her paid, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged has granted, remised, released, quit=claimed and set over, and by these presents doth grant, release, quit=claim and set over unto the said party of the second part, all the part of the said mortgaged premises that is to say: Lot numbered twenty-four(24) and the
west half of lot numbered twenty three (23) in the town of Sardis

D. NESBITT and others as above named either in law or in equity, of, in and to the said premises, together with all the privileges and appurtenances to the same belonging, and all the rents, issues and profits thereof; to have and to hold the same to the only proper sue of the said grantees the Trustees of Lee Township, their assigns forever, and the said J. D. NESBITT and others for themselves and for their heirs, executors and administrators, do hereby covenant with the said grantees, the Trustees of Lee Township their assigns, that they are the true and lawful owners of the said premises, and have full power to convey the same, that the title, so conveyed, is clear, free and unincumbered; and further, that they will warrant and defend the same against all claim or claims of all person as whomsoever.
