Auto for Rural Delivery The auto delivery of rural mail has been adopted in Perry. Ralph Lattin bought a Ford and on Friday started on his route of twenty two miles at 7:45 in the morning. He returned at 10:30, having completed his work for the day where it has been taking until 2:30 in the afternoon Fine for the nice weather, the other boys say, but the old reliable team when it comes rain and mud.

Ralph Lattin, the rural carrier was considerably disturbed Sunday morning when he discovered one of his horses gone from the stable. The officers were notified and the phone kept busy for the day over the rural districts and surrounding towns. No trace of the animal was found until Tuesday when a strange horse was located on the Kraemer farm NOrthwest of Perry, and which proved to be the horse belonging to Mr. Lattin. The animal was raised on the Kirchner Farm north of town and escaping from the stable Saturday night had tried to get back to the old home and unable to cross the creek had wandered on west to Kraemer's place.

Business Changes Hands Ralph Lattin purchased the news stand and variety stock of Ivan Kennedy and took possession this week. Mr. Kennedy has been in Oklahoma City for some time and will be joined at once by Mrs. Kennedy. They have accepted a position as musicians with the Liberty Theatre in Oklahoma City. Mr. Lattin will have active management of the news stand and will conduct the business in an up-to-date manner, following the principles of the former owner in pleasing the people and giving service to the reading public. He has been connected with King Bros. Music House and will still represent them in the sales department.

Ralph Lattin has purchased the stock of Columbia Grafonola and records, small instruments and sheet music of King Brothers and will conduct that branch of the business in connection with his confectionery and news stand. A demonstrating parlor for the Columbias will be fitted up in the rear of the building and a complete new stock of the latest records installed. The sheet music stock will contain the latest in popular hits, classical, instrumental and vocal selections. Thos. King who has been conducting the business of King Brothers for the past few years will continue the sale of pianos in the same location.
