Perhaps you're asking, "Why put wizards and fairies on genealogy pages?" Because to me, research can sometimes be a "magical" process. I've found information, and family photos, in the most unusual places. It often seems like "magic" when something appears that I've been searching for. The past often has a mystical quality. But, my motto in research is that of Quebec, "Je me Souviens", or "I remember." These pages are a way to remember and share the past.
