THE ONES THAT GOT AWAY........

These are the family members who vanished.
After years of searching, I have been unable to find them.
Any help in locating them would be very much appreciated.

William and Sarah (Castator) Baker are listed on the 1850 census of Shelby County, Indiana with daughters, Mary, Nancy, Prudence, and Elmira.
Part of the family went to Page county, Iowa in the fall of 1850, the others followed a few years later.
William died Sept. 1, 1850.
Mary married in Johnson county, Indiana in 1851.
Prudence married in Page County, Iowa in 1853.
The mother, Sarah, remarried in Page County, Iowa in 1856.
Elmira married in Nodaway County, Missouri in 1858.
Nancy disappeared. She was born January 19, 1832 in Indiana.
She probably married someone near Shelby County, Indiana or Page County, Iowa.

-------
Mary Columbia Foster, age 21, daughter of Martin and Mary D. (Carpenter) Foster, married
Charles William Hartman, age 30, son of Daniel and Mary (Mclaughlin) Hartman in Alliance, Box Butte County, Nebraska, on 9 April, 1889.
Then they disappeared.
Where did they go?
Both were born in Missouri.
Update:
Mary Hartman died in Nevada, Missouri on July 4, 1905.
Her son, Charles, escorted her body back to Alliance, Nebraska for burial.
Still no trace of the family in 1900, no death record for the husband, or any sign of the son after 1905.

Any help appreciated.
