WILL BOOK C, PAGE 257,
DATED 26 AUGUST 1858
I David Baker , of
the county of Campbell and State of Kentucky
being sick and weak and infirm
in body do make and ordain this
to be my last will and testament as
follows: First I give to my
daughters Polly Melligan and Rosanna
Spilman my farm whereon
I now live to be equally divided between them, and
that within
six months after my death and this diversion is to be made
by
Samuel Wright and James Ackland, should I have any household
property
my will is that my daughters above named may divide
same without any
appraisement, and I have some notes on John
W. Baker, that I want the
proceeds of them to be given equally to
my two daughters after paying my just
debts and my funeral
expenses and I do nominate and appoint Samuel Baker my
sole
executor hereby renouncing all former wills made by me in
any
wise.
In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal
this
26th day of August
1858.
