Davies McKeley of the Min Vols. at Trinity La. a point within the lines of the Confederate Army, eleven (11) male person, being the first named eleven persons in the within order, also Mrs. Sallie Lockett and five children named in the within order. Department of the Missouri Special Orders No. 155 I. In accordance with orders of the War Department of date April 24th, 1863, and fully and specifically se forth in special Order No. 74, par. 5, from the Head Quarers and the Burrow, the following named persons will be transported South and passed through the lines of the United States forces, and within the lines of the Rebels in arms, if possible, the said persons sent having been selected and adjudged as enemies of the United States Government, and giving aid and comfort to it's enemies in Rebellion, viz. 1. Ferguson of Barry Co., Mo. And in addition to the above at their written request, made and granted, that they may accompany their relatives under the same restriction, the following named: Mrs. Annie B.
Martin of St. Louis, Mo. The above named persons are placed under guard in the charge of Lieut. James McKeloy, Co. D, 7th Reg. Min. Infy. who will transfer them through our lines under flag of truce, delivering them to some proper and responsible authority of the Rebels taking reseipts therefor practable. The persons thus placed through the lines are forbidden to return within the lines of the United States forces during the continuance of the present Rebellion, save by premission of the Secretary of War, under pain of imprisonment during the war, and such other punishment as may be imposed upon them by Military Authority. Lieut. McKeloy will govern by the order and instructions of the Secretary of War, above referred to, and a letter of instructions herewith delivered him. By command of
