The
Nevada High School building was built in 1907 and was used until it burned in
November 1956. It was
located on east Cherry just a block east of the square.
During
the 1950's the top floor housed the music and debate departments.
A new,
modern high school was built in the north west part of town near Logan
Stadium and it still exists.
