The pages on our websites primarily deal with
our family genealogy and Coleman County local history. I also have
a website for Coleman High School Alumni, which is very active.
Judia and I have a photography studio and custom
frame shop in central Texas, which I have owned and operated since 1974,
specializing in wedding, portrait and restoration photography. Judia
is an artist, preferring to do portraits, but does many restorations of
old photographs for the studio, and also teaches art.
We lecture from time to time on the history
of photography, art, Coleman County history and genealogy. In 1998,
we moved from a studio of under 1000 square feet to a downtown location
of over 8000 square feet. We have spent much of our spare time getting
the old building in shape.
Our first love, however, is genealogy,
in which I have been involved since the early 1960's. Judia's family
had always kept up with family history, so she did not feel the urge until
the 1970's. Much of our spare time is devoted to genealogy.
In conjunction with our family history work, Judia and I participate
in a number of Scottish events. I will be adding some of these soon.
