Adams Cemetery
This is a family cemetery on private property located between Orange Grove and Alfred, Texas, on State Highway 359. There are no signs. My very special thanks to the owner of the property for allowing me to photograph and record these headstones, and providing me with information about locations of other Jim Wells County cemeteries. “No farewell words were spoken, no time to say goodbye, you were gone before we knew it, and only God knows why”
This is the property owner’s grandson. She said the deer and fish on the headstone were drawn by Bubba’s friends,
the DeSpain brothers. Bubba loved to fish and hunt, and always dreamed of getting “the legend.”
