These are my burials in Alice Cemetery on Old Falfurrias Hwy. I
obtained
some information from Holmgreen Mortuary, Inc. at 2061 E. Main by Mr. Dale
DuPree.
The Information he gave me does not entirely agree with what is at the
cemetery. I list first what the Mortuary gave me and then what I found.
The Plat is Section B-12; Lot 7, with 8 grave sites:
1 is George R. Craft,Jr.
2 is W. R. Thorne
3 is Mollie Craft
4 is Craft(Senior)
5 is W.E. Seefield(Infant)
6 is G.R. Craft
7 is no one
8 is no one
There are only 2 grave markers.First in site2 is-Bethel Craft, inscribed "
In Loving Memory", dates Apr 14, 1885 - July 23, 1958. Across site 3&4 is a marker for
CRAFT- Jess 1867-1953 and Mollie 1872-1947, with "God's Greatest Gifts
Returned to God" inscribed across the bottom of the marker.
I assume Jess is Craft (Senior). Mollie was his wife. Bethel and Jess
were
sons of G. R. Craft whose name was George Robert Craft who died in Live Oak
County on 14JUN1913, who is my g-g grandfather. The names W. E. Seefield
and W. R. Thorne are not known to me or any of the Craft family that I have
talked to.
