Rutherford County, North Carolina Will Book 1

In the October 1782 term of court, the will of Aaron MOORE was proved. He mentions his wife and names his children: Moses MOORE [I do not know if this is the Moses MOORE who was here in Washington Co.], Elisha, Sarah, Mary, Margaret, Rachael, John, Ann and Elizabeth HERMON. Felix WALKER, Elizabeth WALKER and John WALKER were witnesses.
In the October 1788 court, there was a power-of-attorney from Moses MOORE, planter, province of West Florida and district of Mobile to his good friend, Joseph LAWRENCE of Rutherford County. Witnesses were George WALTON, Anthony HOGGETT and Joseph NEWTON.
