Sarah "Sally" Tilley, daughter of Henry Tilley and Mary Rose, was born 1831 in Wayne County, Tennessee. She married about 1857 in Hardin County, Tennessee to Robert Jack Bratton, son of Paul Bratton and his second wife, Martha______. They first appear on the 1860 Hardin County, Tennessee census in the 5th Civil District on page 73.
