I am trying to find the ancestry of Wilhelm Friedrich KAHL, b: 15 Apr 1853, d: 15 Dec 1935, Denison, Crawford Co., Iowa.
He was born in Germany, we believe Schleswig-Holstein. Married 1) Anna BOEGE and 2) her sister Magdalena BOEGE. Father was supposedly Henry KAHL and Mother Fredericka LUBER.

I am the gggranddaughter of J. Henry KAHL (1826-1896) and Anne E. BILSE (1826-1876) born in Hessen, Germany. Their children were Sophia, Henry, George and Jacob KAHL. My reltives have lived in the Mount Horeb, WI area.
I am trying to find the relationship between J. Henry KAHL and George Henry KAHL (1817-1866). I am not sure if they were brothers or cousins. I am also looking for information on Gilsey KAHL born in Wisconsin in 1914 but died in California.

I am looking for my nan's sister Peggy (Margaret) KAHL (nee COOK) an Englishwoman from Essex who married an American, emigrated and was living in Baltimore.
She was previously married to another American Paul SHAFFER and they had a son Raymond.
Auntie Peggy had been in contact with my elderly nan up until 10+ years and for an unknown reason we have lost contact and we cannot locate her or any of her children (from limited info/addresses etc).
My nan does not remember her 2nd husband's name but they have three children, Paul KAHL, Larry KAHL and Kimberly KAHL. If anyone here is related to or knows of them could you please ask them to contact me.

I am looking for any information on a Charles KAHL, born 1850 in California, married Elizabeth HITCHINGS. I do not have any information on his parents. Charles was a gold miner in the Nevada City/Grass Valley area of California. He lived in Nevada City, CA as listed on the 1910 census. If anybody has information on this line of Kahls, it would be greatly appreciated. Charles is my Gr. grandfather.

Searching for information regarding ancestors (specifically parents) and siblings of Detlief Joachim Fredrick KAHL, born in 1835 in Matzwitz, Germany. (Schleswig-Holstein). He arrived in America in 1862, and settled in Muscatine, Iowa and then Radcliffe, Iowa. Upon arrival he stayed with relatives in Davenport, Iowa. Who are those relatives? Detlief is my great-grandfather.

I am searching for any info on the parents/siblings of my great great grandfather, Frank KEHL, born 1857 in Philadelphia to William and Julia KEHL. He died at the age of 32 in 1890.

Looking for information on my Great Grandfather, John August KAHL.
He married Edith O. BLAKE?, they lived in Prairie Farm
Township, Barron County Wisconsin.  Their Children were Athly, Earl F., Helen E., and Byron J.  According to 1930 census John A. KAHL would have been born about 1886 in Wisconsin and his father and mother were both born in Germany.
Any help with this would be deeply appreciated.


Kahlfamily Note: John August KAHL was born April 10, 1885 in Prairie Farm Township, Barron County, Wisconsin. His parents were John KAHL, born 1851 in Prussia/Germany, he immigrated to the U.S. in 1869 and Mary Hendorf, born 1857 in Prussia/Germany she immigrated to the U.S. in 1870.

I am the GG grand daughter of Julia KAHL who married Francis CHURCHILL. They had four children: Elizabeth born October 1856, Emma born July 15 ,1858; William born July 1861 in New Orleans, and Aloysius born June of 1870 in New Orleans. I cannot find any info that predates this.
