Westhampton Cemetery.  Charlotte was a teacher.  William was a 1914 graduate of the Syracuse University Law School and was an Army officer in World War I.  He was a lawyer and businessman and the first Mayor of the incorporated village of Westhampton Beach.

9-989. CLIFFORD TUTTLE RAYNOR, son of Augustus Hiram and Grace Alice (Tuttle) RAYNOR, b. 22 Feb 1893, Westhampton Beach, d. 9 Nov 1953; m. 10 Apr 1918 at Southampton by Rev. Charles S. GRAY, Genevieve Adele HALSEY, b. 12 Apr 1890, Brooklyn, d. 13 Nov 1969, Westhampton Beach, d/o Benjamin Griffin(g) and Josephine (Jagger) HALSEY.  Both Clifford and Genevieve are bur. Westhampton Cemetery.  Shortly after Clifford and his brother, Norman, were released from the Armed Forces following World War I, Raynor's Garage on Library Avenue, Westhampton Beach was founded by them, in 1919.  Clifford was a Westhampton Beach Village Trustee and long time School Board member; he was President of the School Board at the time of his death.  He was also President of the Long Island Dodge Dealers Association.

Raynor's Sons, founded in 1923, was run by Emerson RAYNOR.  Later, he was owner of E. Raynor Sons Real Estate, Inc.  After retirement from his real estate business, Emerson was First Vice President of the Riverhead Savings Bank, where he had been a Trustee for several years.
