Alfred enlisted in War Between The States. He served in Company E., 64th Regiment Georgia Infantry
Alfred bought 80.34 acres of land in Alabama from the Huntsville Office in 1858. Alfred and Mary Ann Bradbury Peace lived a fruitful life until Mary's death in somewhere around 1867. Children of this marriage are as follows:
Nancy Louise Peace, Perry A. Peace, William Peace, Martin Peace, James H. Peace and Jefferson Peace.
After the death of Mary Ann Bradbury Peace, Alfred married Mary A. (Last name unknown) and the children of this marriage are as follows:
