There has been a new discoveries, John S. Bates Stone was found on October 20, 2000 in the John Bates Cemetery.  I believe also that Napoleon B. Bates is also buried here.  It is not known how many people are buried here but the search continues as the restoration project of this cemetery goes on. I would like to thank everyone for the generous donations that was made to help with the restoration project and to the kids who spend many hours helping.  These kids are know as the Murray County Zoo Crew.
