I believe the photograph on the right to be that of Gotfried and Christine (nee BONING) KRATZMANN.

My Kratzmann ancestors left Germany for Australia on 7 October 1865. Gotfried and Christine KRATZMANN's son, Johann Friedrich KRATZMANN (also known as Friedrich) sailed from Hamburg, Germany, on the 'Johann Caesar' and after a voyage of nearly 4 months arrived in Queensland, Australia on 6 February 1866.

He brought with him his wife, Sophie (40), and children Carl (18), Wilhelm (14), Fredericke (12), August (6), Herman (3), and Frederick (2).

On Johann Friedrich's death certificate it mentioned his wife as being Dorothea Thoms and not Henriette Sophie Thoms. His Last Will and Testament, dated nearly four years before his death, also states his wife as Dorothea. Henriette Sophie's death certificate shows her husband as Johann Friedrich Kratzmann with her living children being Wilhelm Friedrich (54), Friderike Wilhelmine Albertine (52), Hermann Friedrich Wilhelm (43) and Ernst (39). Deceased were two males.

I may have the incorrect Will which is originally shown for Friedrich Kratzmann but with the notation "The Friedrich Kratzmann mentioned and described in the said Will and the Johann Friedrich Kratzmann described in the said certified copy hereto annexed marked A are one and the same person" I doubt that I have. Does anyone have any ideas?
