Charles Jacob Keller was born in Fulton County, Ohio to Henry KELLER (1852 – 1929) and Sophia I. BOEHM (1861 – 1922) on August 19, 1886. Charles was the 2nd of five children. He had an older sister, Ida May (1882 – 1960), and two younger brothers and a younger sister, Harvey William (1890 – 1973), Lena Rose (1894 – 1965) and Clyde Harold (1899 – 1919). Charles married Delila May SHIBLER on May 12, 1908 in Wauseon, Clinton Township, Fulton County, Ohio. B. G. Bowman, Minister, solemnized the marriage. |

At that time, 1910, their youngest child, Herbert, was only a little over 3 months old. Their oldest child, Reuben (Hank), was 10 years old. Hank, Elizabeth L. (Lucille) (9 years) and Helen (6 years) were attending school. Hank & Lucille were able to read and write. The other two sons were Elvin (4 1/2 years) and Franklin (2 1/2 years). |
