The Lloyd Bitikofers operated the Biddies Restaurant and Motel in Napoleon from
1925 - 1970. There is a small article written about the restaurant in the
Henry County Ohio Historical Book Volume I, which was compiled in 1976.
Bertha married Reynold Mullen and Helen was married to Arthur Saneholz.
Their restaurant was the 'elite' place to dine in Napoleon when I was a
student at Napoleon School in the late 30's and early 40's. Beautiful view
over the Maumee River overlooking the main part of Napoleon at that time.
(Lloyd Bittikofer (b. 1892) married Callie SEVIN (b. March 20, 1881) on July 6, 1902. Their children were:
Bertha BITTIKOFER & Helen BITTIKOFER. Lloyd was a son of Jacob J. BITTIKOFER (1839 - 1911) and Mary Ann KLINK (1843 - 1903). cpk)
