LAMB, Marguerite F. October 20, 2003 Marguerite F. Lamb, age 92, of Lyons, OH, passed away October 20, 2003, at Fulton Manor where she had lived for the past year. Marguerite was the secretary for Wayne Production Broaching for many years. She was an active member of Lyons Christian Church, Lyons Literary League, Lyons Historical Society, and Eastern Star. Marguerite and her late husband, Kenneth, were proprietors of Lamb Market in Lyons for many years. Marguerite is survived by her sons Fred J. (Charlotte) Lamb of Manitou Beach, MI and Ramon A. (Mary Ann) Lamb of Ottawa, OH; 6 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth and sister, Geneva. A memorial service will be held on October 23, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. at Lyons Christian Church with Rev. Brent Pomeroy and Rev. Mary Burroughs officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations may be given to Lyons Christian Church. My mother Marguerite F. Lamb, a long time resident of Lyons, passed away October 20,2003. Mom was born January 8th 1911. She was a member of the Lyons Church of Christ as well as many other organizations over her many years as a resident of Lyons. Mom and my father Kenneth Lamb were active in civic affairs. They owned and operated Lamb's Market for several years This market was continued under the ownership of George and Mary Hall. In later years Marguerite was the executive secretary for Wayne Production Broaching in Morenci, Michigan. This position she held for over twenty five years. The last year of her life she lived at Fulton Manor in Wauseon. Marguerite had a full and productive life and remained mentally sharp until her death. Ray Lamb, June 13, 20034 |
