GALLUP, Howard P. April 26, 2004  Howard Gallup, 72, of W. Yankee Rd., Sand Creek, passed away Monday, April 26, 2004, at home. He was born on March 23, 1932, in Morenci, the son of Ray and Robena (Carpenter) Gallup. On December 5, 1953, in Lyons, Ohio, he married Mary Lou Gillespie. She preceded him in death on September 16, 1998. Howard was a life time Lyons area farmer. He is survived by three sons, Ramon, Roger (Shari) and Richard, all of Lyons; five grandchildren; two sisters, Shirley Arnold of Lyons and Juanita LeFever of Anchorage, AK, and one brother, Richard Gallup of Lyons, and special friend, Virginia Zenk. A Graveside service will be held at the Lyons Cemetery on Monday, May 3, 2004, at 11 a.m. Rev. Jerry Jones will officiate. There will be no visitation or viewing. Services were handled through the Eagle Funeral Home-Charles Fink Chapel in Morenci. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Fairfield Twp. or Lyons Fire Dept.
