KAHLE, J. Monte October 15, 2004  MAGNOLIA, Ky.: Kahle, J. Monte, age 61, Oct. 15, 2004. Mr. Kahle was a manager of Carter Lumber for 18 years and was a member of the National Muzzle Loading Rifle Association for 20 years as a national shooter and a range officer. He was well known for his hobby of building black powder guns, all types of carpentry work and for his love of both fishing and hunting. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Judy Kahle of Magnolia, Ky.; daughter Carmel Calhoun of Northwebster, Ind.; sons Shane Kahle of Magnolia, Shawn Kahle of Bowling Green, Ky.; and five grandchildren, Todd, Brooke, Jackson, Alex and Andrea. A memory of life dinner has been planned in his honor, 1-3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 23, 2004, at the Magnolia Baptist Church in Magnolia. Another dinner in his honor is planned, 1-3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 30, 2004, at the VFW in Lyons, Ohio. The family request in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Vanderbilt Cardiac Transplant Foundation, c/o Vanderbilt Medical Center, 1211 22nd Ave. South, 908 Oxford House, Nashville, TN 37232-4730.
