SHAVALIER, William "Bill"
March 31, 1989

DRIVER CRITICAL
MAdison Twp - William Shavalier of 4458 Adrian Hwy remained in critical condition this morning at the U of M Hospital where he was flown following a one car accident July 2nd. According to a report from the Lenawee Sheriff Dept, Shavalier was southbound on Elmwood Drive at a high rate of speed when he failed to yield for a stop sign at the intersection of Cadmus Road. He reportedly tried to turn east on Cadmus, but lost control of the vehicle and struck a tree. There were no passengers in the car.

(Bill was in a coma for 10 months before his death on March 31, 1989.)
