DUNBAR, Mable (HOUSTON) February 2, 2006 Mabel "Scottie" Dunbar March 2, 1902 - February 2, 2006 Location: Eagle Funeral Home in Morenci Visitation: Saturday, February 4, 2006 from 2:30 p.m. Until Time of Service Service: Saturday, February 4, 2006 @ 3:00 p.m. Cemetery: Lyons Cemetery in Lyons, Ohio Memorial Contributions: Charity of Donor's Choice Mabel Dunbar, age 103, of Lyons, Ohio, passed away Thursday, February 2, 2006, at Heartland of Wauseon, Ohio. She was born on March 2, 1902, in Blantyre, Scotland, the daughter of Hugh & Isabel (Laing) Houston. She was married to James "Bill" Dunbar on July 2, 1921, in Delta, Ohio. He preceded her in death in 1972. Mabel was a homemaker living in the Lyons area most all of her life where she was a member of the Lyons Christian Church. Survivors include a daughter, Joy (Francis) Arquette of Lyons, two grandsons, James & John Arquette, and four great grandchildren. Besides her husband, Bill, Mabel was preceded in death by her parents, a son in infancy, five sisters, and four brothers. Funeral service will be on Saturday, February 4, 2006, at 3:30 p.m. at the Eagle Funeral Home-Charles Fink Chapel in Morenci with Rev. Jack VanArsdall and Rev. Brent Pomeroy officiating. Burial will follow at the Lyons Cemetery in Lyons, Ohio. There will be a visitation from 2:30 p.m. until service time on Saturday. Memorial contributions are suggested to a charity of donor's choice. |
